AVANTI VDR (Voyage Data Recorder)

• The AVANTI VDR is a Voyage Data Recording & AUtomatic Alert System designed for usage by large pleasure crafts and larger commercial vessels.

• The system is continuously logging vitall ship data such as postion, course, speed, radar data and other data from sensor systems onboard the vessel.

• In the unlikely event of an emergency, the VDR System can be activated manually or the hydrostatic release system will automatically release the buoy at 2m depth. Upon surfacing, the buoy will immediately start transmitting it's vital data to the shore surveillance center.

The emeregency alert data will also be presented on the globAlert web page for tracking pruposes (only valid with subscription).
